Motorcycle Technician

Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately Conduct repairs and maintenance on motorcycles, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to assemble, repair, or modify motorcycle parts Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake repairs, and suspension adjustments Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, recommending service options, and ensuring excellent customer service experiences Conduct heavy lifting of motorcycle parts and components safely to facilitate repairs and assembly Maintain detailed service records, update repair logs, and ensure all work meets safety standards and quality benchmarks Experience Must have 2+ years dealership experience as a motorcycle technician Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including brake repair, suspension work, welding, soldering, and assembly processes Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Prior mechanic experience in a fast-paced setting is highly desirable; certifications in automotive repair or motorcycle-specific training are a plus
