Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and certified Marine Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine engines and related systems. Qualifications:

Certified Marine Engine Technician (manufacturer certifications such as Mercury, Yamaha or equivalent preferred). Minimum 3 years of professional marine engine repair experience . Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Excellent work ethic, communication, and customer service skills. Military background or experience is a plus but not required; must demonstrate excellent customer service skills Commitment to safety practices including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all repair activities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with outboards and electronics. ABYC certification is a plus. Boating or marine industry experience beyond engine repair is desirable.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gasoline and diesel marine engines. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service. Install and repair marine propulsion systems, steering, electrical, fuel, and cooling systems. Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Complete service reports and maintain accurate repair records. Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repair recommendations and timelines.
