Job Description

Job Overview Looking for a full time (or part time) mechanic that has experience with small engines as well as gas and diesel golf course equipment. Must have 2+ years of experience and knowledge with large golf course equipment (i.e. Toro and Jacobson) to include: motor repair, reel/deck maintenance, small machinery, electric golf cars, and trouble shooting electrical issues, etc. Must be dependable, knowledgeable, good team worker, have their own tools, and be organized. Also, must have reliable transportation. Duties Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on golf course equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, aerators, and golf cars. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, small engine repairs, and electrical system checks to minimize downtime. Repair and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, power generation systems, and other mechanical components with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques to restore machinery to optimal working condition. Must have own tools. Assist in lifting and manual handling tasks safely when replacing or installing large parts or equipment components. Keep detailed maintenance records and logs for all repairs performed to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of engines (including diesel), electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and power generation systems. Expertise in electrical diagnostics, electrical work, small engine maintenance. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialized machinery for repairs and maintenance tasks. Ability to perform lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during equipment repairs. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and support staff regarding maintenance issues.
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
