Marine Mechanic / Marine Electrician
Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Marine Mechanic / Marine Electrician to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing marine engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components on boats and yachts. We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of independently identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues. Responsibilities Diagnose, maintain, and repair marine engines and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and repair marine electrical systems. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters and other diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Repair and replace electrical and mechanical components as needed. Troubleshoot batteries, charging systems, wiring, pumps, motors, switches, and onboard electrical equipment. Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Identify problems efficiently and recommend appropriate repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Document repairs and maintenance performed. Qualifications Previous professional experience as a Marine Mechanic, Marine Electrician, or Marine Technician is required. Strong knowledge of marine mechanical and electrical systems. Experience troubleshooting and repairing marine electrical systems. Experience with diesel engines and marine propulsion systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and read electrical schematics. Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently. Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented. Must be able to perform physical work associated with marine maintenance and repairs. "English or Spanish speakers are welcome to apply. Bilingual is a plus, but not required. Compensation $25-$38 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
