Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Marine Construction professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and maintenance, particularly in marine environments. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure the successful completion of marine construction projects. Candidates should be prepared for heavy lifting and possess a solid understanding of mechanical systems. Our work area ranges from Perdido Key to Santa Rosa Beach. Responsibilities Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete construction tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required for the assembly and installation of marine structures. Conduct vehicle maintenance to ensure all equipment is operational and safe for use on job sites. Fabricate components as needed for specific projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications. Rig materials safely for lifting and transport during construction activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in marine construction or related fields is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Strong mechanical skills with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Familiarity with rigging techniques and safety practices in a construction environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
