Small Engine Technician

Small Engine Technician American Mower & Saw Overview We are seeking skilled and dedicated Technicians to join our team to repair residential, commercial and municipal outdoor power equipment. The ideal candidates will possess a Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, Stihl Silver or higher, Echo and/or other Outdoor Power Industry Certifications. In addition to Stihl & Echo equipment, 2 cycle technicians will be responsible for the repair of most brands of 2 cycle equipment. If 2 cycle isn't your specialty, we are also hiring for an experienced lawnmower technician. These roles involve working with schematics and performing repairs on various equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. These positions are Monday-Friday 7:45-5:00. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on 2 cycle/lawnmowers and related equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues accurately. Conduct inspections to identify mechanical problems and recommend solutions. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding equipment functionality. Experience Proven experience in 2 cycle and lawnmower repair. Familiarity with Stihl machinery is a plus. Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton and Honda training is a plus. The ability to work efficiently is a must. Experience in sales or customer interaction is advantageous but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
