About Poseidon Yacht Solutions Poseidon Yacht Solutions is a South Florida-based mobile marine service company specializing in mechanical, electrical, maintenance, and repair services for recreational vessels and yachts. Our technicians travel directly to marinas, boatyards, private docks, and customer locations throughout South Florida to provide professional onsite service and support. Position Summary Poseidon Yacht Solutions is seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of marine systems, including outboard and inboard engines, drivetrains, steering systems, fuel systems, and general vessel maintenance. This is a mobile service position. Technicians travel daily to customer vessels located at marinas, boatyards, private residences, and yacht facilities throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service. Res ponsibilities Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel marine engines. Perform routine maintenance and scheduled services. Service and repair outboard and inboard propulsion systems. Diagnose fuel, cooling, steering, hydraulic, and mechanical system issues. Install and replace marine components and equipment. Perform sea trials and operational testing when required. Complete service reports and documentation accurately. Communicate findings and recommendations to management and customers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Work directly with customers to provide professional service and support. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of marine mechanical experience preferred. Experience with Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, Cummins, Caterpillar, or similar manufacturers. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues independently. Strong knowledge of marine maintenance and repair procedures. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be comfortable traveling between multiple service locations throughout the day. Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment. Experience working at marinas, boatyards, and onboard vessels preferred. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various marine environments. Preferred Certifications Mercury Certification Yamaha Certification ABYC Certification Technical Marine School Training Compensation is based on experience, certifications, and skill level.
