Full Job Description Job Summary:

Simmons Boatworks is seeking a skilled Repair and Building Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of small sailboats. This role requires a strong background in gelcoat and fiberglass repairs as well as boat building.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on company owned as well as customers boats.
• Build small infused sailboats as well as open molded parts.
• Repair and maintain tooling as parts and boats are built.
• Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repair or replacement.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance and repair hours and parts used.
• Assist is loading trailers with boats and equipment for events
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
