DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the supervisor, clean up, and repair valves, actuators, and accessories Identify needed parts and work with other departments to obtain them Repair, assemble and test, and tag valves, actuators, and accessories using a variety of tools, measuring, and shop equipment. Work will require Traveling to different shipyard areas. Will require some Troubleshooting and repairing issues in the field. Determine and discuss with the supervisor any potential process improvements. Must have experience with valves or in residential or commercial plumbing. Familiarity with the various piping and fitting
  • press fitting, pex, pvc, cpvc, copper, stainless. Maintain the integrity of yacht interiors and exterior finish. Over time, nights and weekend work may be required as customer service needs fluctuate. Has the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Planning/Organizing

Ability to use various hand tools such as band saws, drill presses, chop saws, and bench grinders. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
One to two years of related experience or equivalent. Familiarity with delivery practices and handling methods. Must have a valid driver's license Ability to lead a team and assist the Project Manager. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
