Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Motorcycle Mechanic, where your expertise will drive the maintenance and repair of a wide range of powersports vehicles. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure every motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle (ATV) operates at peak performance. Your mechanical skills and passion for motorcycles will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their rides are safe, reliable, and ready for for the road. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with your passion! Duties Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostics and specialized diagnostic tools. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and tire replacements. Repair and assemble motorcycles, ATVs, and powersports engines with precision using hand tools, power tools, welding, and soldering techniques. Conduct comprehensive engine system repairs including carburetor tuning, electrical diagnostics, and powersports engine overhauls. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic vehicle problems and execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Inspect vehicles for safety compliance, perform heavy lifting tasks as needed, and ensure all repairs meet dealership quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering maintenance advice to enhance vehicle longevity. Qualifications Dealership experience or service technician experience in motorcycle or powersports or regular vehicle repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive engine system repair and automotive diagnostics. Skilled in using diagnostic tools for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems. Familiarity with all-terrain vehicle repair, motorcycle operation, brake systems, suspension work, possible welding, soldering, and the general assembly processes. Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting with proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment. Experience in sales or customer service is a plus to assist clients with maintenance recommendations. Valid mechanic experience with a focus on powersports engine repair or automotive repair preferred.
