Full Job Description Overview:
We are looking for a motivated small engine technician to join our Juncker Outdoor Power team. Our technicians work around all types of commercial, industrial, agricultural equipment and brands. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing small engines from ECHO Power Equipment products to SCAG Power Equipment products. We are a family-owned business and help our employees grow in their professional development as a technician.Brands We Work On:
ECHO, SCAG, Kawasaki, Mahindra Tractors, John Deere, Kubota Diesel, Mitsubishi Diesel, CASE IH and many others.Responsibilities:
- Maintain an organized work space
- Diagnose and repair engines, zero turns, lawn tractors, and commercial equipment
- Track time and coordinate with service advisor on completed jobs
Required Skills:
- Understanding of combustion and 2 stroke engines is required
- Have your own tools or be able to acquire the required shop tools. (Our shop provides specialty tools but all technicians need their own tools to fix equipment)
- Read and write legibly in order to fill out inspection checklists and read service manuals
- Be able to read and understand simple electrical schematics
Work Schedule:
The shop is open from 8-5 M-F, with an hour lunch break. Saturdays are optional from 8-12.Technician School:
We send our technicians to get certified at various programs throughout the year. Education opportunities are free to technicians and they can select which pathway they would like to go. School programs are available for Versatile Diesel, Mahindra Diesel, SCAG Gold, ECHO TF1 School, and Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs.Pay:
$16.00- $20.
