Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Marine Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding and maintaining a variety of watercraft and onboard systems. This includes work on engines, electrical systems, steering, hydraulics, and navigation electronics. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers' boats are safe, efficient, and ready for adventure.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems on boats Perform routine maintenance on inboard and outboard engines (gasoline and diesel) Install and troubleshoot marine electronics (GPS, sonar, VHF radios, etc.) Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and the service team Ensure work meets safety and environmental regulations Assist with haul-outs, launches, and sea trials as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a marine technician or similar role Strong knowledge of marine engine systems (Yamaha, Mercury, Volvo Penta, etc.) Familiarity with marine electrical systems and troubleshooting Technical certifications (e.g., ABYC, NMEA) are a plus Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Valid driver's license; ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
