Job Description
Zimmerman Marine We are looking for an experienced Marine l Systems Technician with a strong work ethic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to perform complex mechanical repairs and installs Must be comfortable working on all boat systems, engines by, Yanmar, Volvo and familiar with working on onboard plumbing systems, and hydraulic systems, troubleshooting and making needed repairs Familiarity with ABYC guidelines (certifications a plus!) Perform related duties assigned or as the situation dictates Maintain updated knowledge of product and industry trends and methods Maintain awareness of and continually practice safe work habits Maintain cleanliness on projects both during and after job completion Work overtime when needed Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Valid driver's license Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb and work safely around the water, on ladders, or in confined spaces Capacity to work as a member of a team or by oneself to achieve desired results Ability to read and comprehend work orders Zimmerman Marine has been repairing proper yachts for 46 years, join a company that respects what you bring to the job.
