Outboard & Powersports Technician - Gorham, ME Our client is an established marine services company specializing in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of sailboat rigging, spars, and related equipment. Our client is currently looking for a Marine & Powersports Technician to join their team on a full-time, year-round basis. This role involves servicing outboard engines, sterndrives, snowmobiles, ATVs, and related equipment, providing a mix of marine and powersports experience. --

Responsibilities Marine Service:

Diagnose, service, and repair outboard engines and sterndrive systems. Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and engine performance checks. Conduct winterization and spring commissioning of marine engines. Install and service trolling motors and related electrical components. Troubleshoot and repair starting, charging, and basic onboard marine systems. Install marine accessories and assist with engine repowers or installations. Perform operational checks following repairs.

Powersports Service:

Diagnose, service, and repair snowmobiles, ATVs, and related equipment. Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks. Diagnose engine, drivetrain, electrical, starting, charging, and operating issues. Conduct seasonal service and preparation for powersports vehicles. Repair or replace worn or damaged components. Install accessories and perform operational and safety checks after repairs. -- Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills. Experience with marine, powersports, automotive, motorcycle, or small-engine repair preferred. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to follow manufacturer service procedures and safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
