Equipment Manager

Golf Course Equipment Manager / Mechanic Heather Highlands Golf Course is preparing for an exciting reopening season following a major course renovation and construction project. We are looking for a motivated and dependable Equipment Manager to become a key part of our growing team as we bring the property back to life. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining and managing the golf course equipment fleet while helping build strong maintenance systems for the future. Responsibilities Maintain and repair golf course equipment including: Tractors Fairway mowers Greens mowers Utility vehicles Small engine equipment Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program during the winter season Regular grinding and setup of reels and bedknives Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues Keep equipment clean, organized, and operating efficiently Maintain service records and parts inventory Work closely with the Superintendent and management team to support daily operations Qualifications Experience in the golf course industry is a strong bonus Experience with reel grinding and mower setup preferred Mechanical knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, and small engine equipment Welding, fabrication, electrical, or irrigation experience is a plus Self-motivated with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who wants to be part of building something special in restoring this beautiful golf course . Compensation:
