This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, service, and repairs on ag and turf equipment. This role works on a variety of equipment including tractors, mowers, compact utility equipment, chainsaws, push mowers and other small engines. Starting pay range is $25-$30/ hour plus commission eligibility on labor performance. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on equipment Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty work on a variety of equipment Use diagnostic tools and service software to troubleshoot problems Conduct equipment inspections and testing to ensure proper operation Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately Communicate service findings and recommendations to service support and customers Maintain mobile service vehicle inventory, tools, and cleanliness Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications Must have adequate personal set of tools to perform work responsibilities Minimum 1 year proven mechanical experience with agricultural or turf equipment repair Proficiency in using diagnostic tools Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Knowledge of safety standards related to machinery repair We offer Competitive hourly wage and commission, based on experience This position also provides a commission pay based on performance Health, dental, and vision insurance and more 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Boot reimbursement Ongoing paid training through John Deere Minnesota Equipment is an AA/EEO employer Our customers come from all walks of life and so do we.
