In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Your expertise will help customers get back to work or leisure quickly with reliable equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties Diagnose issues with small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, and other power equipment using schematics and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups on small engines and related equipment Repair or replace faulty components, including electrical systems, carburetors, ignition systems, and mechanical parts Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics and electrical work on various equipment to identify faults accurately Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment during repair processes while adhering to safety standards Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation before returning it to customers or staging for sale Experience Proven experience or service technician background working with small engines or power equipment Strong mechanical knowledge of engine repair, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for small engines and machinery Experience repairing diesel engines, generators, or heavy-duty power systems is highly desirable Hands-on experience with automotive repair techniques and electrical work enhances your ability to succeed in this role Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, soldering devices, and mechanical systems repair techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Join us if you're passionate about machinery maintenance and eager to deliver top-notch service!
