Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Golf Cart Service Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting golf carts to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to providing high-quality service. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on golf carts Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques Repair or replace faulty components, including batteries, motors, wiring, and other parts Utilize specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and components Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs performed Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Assist in ordering parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance Conduct test drives to verify the proper functioning of repaired carts Qualifications Proven experience in vehicle or small engine repair, preferably with electric vehicles or golf carts Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters, multimeters, and other electrical testing devices Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred Prior experience with electrical systems is a plus but not required This role is essential for maintaining the quality and safety of our fleet of golf carts.
