Experienced Marine Technician - Yamaha & Mercury Comstock Yacht Sales & Marina - Brick/Brielle, NJ Full-Time | Year-Round Position Comstock Yacht Sales & Marina is looking to add an experienced Marine Technician to our service team. We are a family-owned and operated marine dealership serving New Jersey boaters since 1973. We represent some of the best brands in the industry, including Boston Whaler, Grady-White, Regulator Marine, and Tiara Yachts , and operate full-service locations in Brick and Brielle, NJ. We are looking for a skilled technician who takes pride in their work and has hands-on experience with Yamaha and/or Mercury outboard engines .

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

This is an experienced technician position.

Applicants should have:

Professional marine technician experience Yamaha and/or Mercury outboard experience Current or previous Yamaha and/or Mercury factory training and certifications Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with routine maintenance, repairs, rigging, and engine systems Ability to diagnose electrical, fuel, steering, and mechanical issues Ability to work independently and as part of a service team Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work correctly Valid driver's license Factory training and certifications are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities may include: Yamaha and Mercury outboard diagnostics and repair Factory-recommended engine maintenance Engine and boat electrical troubleshooting Engine rigging and installation Repowers Steering and control systems Fuel system diagnosis and repair Warranty repairs New boat commissioning and setup Seasonal service and maintenance Proper documentation of repairs and work performed
