Marine Technician/Boat Mechanic/Electrical and Mechanical Repair Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in servicing and maintaining marine vessels, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure the optimal performance boats and engines. Marine Technician/Boat Mechanic/Electrical and Mechanical Repair Duties Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on marine vessels, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform necessary repairs. Execute mechanical repairs involving rigging, assembly, and fabrication of components. Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and ohm meters. Engage in boat and engine maintenance tasks related to marine equipment. Perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist in the repair and maintenance of boats. Marine Technician/Boat Mechanic/Electrical and Mechanical Repair Experience Candidates should have experience in the following areas: Service technician experience within the marine industry or related fields. Electrical experience, including troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge with a focus on vehicle maintenance and assembly. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Previous military experience is a plus but not required.
