Golf Course Mechanic / Golf Cart Technician Eden Valley Golf (EVG) - Eden, NY Eden Valley Golf is hiring a hands-on Golf Course Mechanic / Golf Cart Technician to maintain, repair, and upgrade golf carts and golf course equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical golf carts Repair batteries, chargers, motors, controllers, wiring, brakes, steering, suspension, tires, and accessories Perform golf cart upgrades and modifications , including battery, motor, controller, lighting, seating, and other improvements, build up the battery charge stations Maintain and repair mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, small engines, pumps, and other golf course equipment Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal inspections Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems Perform basic welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs when needed Recommend cost-effective repairs, rebuilds, or equipment upgrades Keep the workshop, tools, parts, and maintenance records organized Qualifications Experience as a mechanic, golf cart technician, small-engine mechanic, automotive technician, or equipment technician preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with 36V/48V golf cart electrical systems preferred Experience with Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, or similar golf carts is an asset Experience with lithium battery conversions, motor/controller upgrades, or golf cart customization is a strong asset Welding and fabrication skills are an asset Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently Valid driver's license preferred
