Key Responsibilities Works safely and deliver quality craftsmanship in a high-paced environment. Knowledge of rigging, hoisting and inspections. Perform installation of new machinery. Ability to read technical specifications and install according to OEM requirements. Comply with shipyard safety, company policies and environmental measures. Communicate effectively, work independently or in teams. Qualifications and Requirements Aligns pumps and motors. Reads and interprets schematics and assembly drawings. Strong understanding of measuring tools, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators. Assemble and install machinery utilizing hand and power tools. Attention to detail and ability to communicate issues to leadership. Physical ability to complete the work including lifting up to 75lbs. Positive attitude and team player mentality. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. Remove and install mechanically and hydraulicly fit propellers. Removes and install propulsion shafts and rudders. Removes and installs shrink/expansion fit bearings, sleeves, rings, liners and gears utilizing liquid nitrogen or controlled heating techniques. What We Offer Starting at $26-32 / hr depending on experience. Benefits and PTO included after 3 months. 401k with matching after 12 months. Standard workweek is 50 hours per week.
