Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Powersports ATV Motorcycle Technician to join our passionate team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of powersports vehicles, including all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), motorcycles, and other small engines. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets safety standards and performs at peak levels, providing our customers with reliable and high-quality service. Responsibilities Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and engine system issues using advanced diagnostic tools and automotive diagnostics techniques. Perform repairs on engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components of powersports vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake adjustments, and assembly of new vehicles. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Test ride vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance; provide detailed reports on repair status. Maintain accurate documentation of all services performed; communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and vehicle status. Support sales efforts by explaining technical features of products and recommending appropriate accessories or upgrades. Experience Previous dealership experience or service technician background specializing in powersports vehicles or automotive repair. Proven expertise in automotive engine system repair, suspension work, brake repair, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair. Hands-on experience with motorcycle operation and all-terrain vehicle repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with diagnostic tools usage, automotive diagnostics software, welding techniques, soldering skills, and basic vehicle troubleshooting. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate technical information clearly. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs. Prior experience in sales or product advising related to powersports equipment is a plus.
