About Us Cumberland Marine Repair isn't just another boat shop. We are a small, specialized team that keeps rescue and recreational boats on the water; supporting first responders, fire departments, and everyday boaters across Central Pennsylvania.   • Diagnose, repair, and service outboard and sterndrive engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke)
  • Perform repowers, control installs, and full engine rigging
  • Troubleshoot fuel, cooling, and electrical systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance: oil changes, gear lube, impellers, filters, etc.
  • Keep accurate notes on repairs and parts and communicate clearly with team and customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area What we're looking for
  • 3-5 years of Marine experience (outboards/sterndrives preferred)
  • Ability to diagnose and repair independently with minimal supervision
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and reliability
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with Tohatsu, Mercury, Yamaha, Honda
  • Basic understanding of 12V electrical systems
  • Interest or knowledge of swift water rescue programs is a plus! What we offer
