Job Summary 3-5 years of experience necessary...We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Golf Cart Service Manager Technician to lead our maintenance and repair operations for golf carts and related equipment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily service activities, ensure high-quality repairs, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your expertise will drive efficiency, uphold safety standards, and promote sales through upselling accessories and maintenance packages. Duties Lead and coordinate all golf cart service operations, including diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance Perform complex mechanical repairs such as transmissions, suspension systems, brake repairs, shocks & struts, tire services, and oil changes Utilize estimating software to accurately assess repair costs and prepare detailed service estimates for customers Conduct vehicle inspections using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools to identify issues efficiently Upsell additional services and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue opportunities Manage service writing processes, ensuring clear communication of repair needs and timelines to clients Oversee inventory management of parts and tools necessary for efficient service delivery Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including cash handling transactions and client communications Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment for all team members Experience Proven experience as a mechanic or automotive technician with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair 3-5 years of Golf Cart service required Prior dealership or automotive service management experience highly preferred Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Demonstrated ability in automotive diagnostics across various systems including transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, tires, oil changes, and collision repair Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and upselling opportunities Service technician experience in auto repair shops or dealerships is highly desirable Valid driving license with a clean driving record to test drive vehicles as needed Strong mechanical knowledge combined with sales acumen to promote additional services confidently Join us in delivering top-tier golf cart maintenance that keeps our clients moving smoothly!
