Small Engine Mechanic
Job Description
We are looking to add another mechanic to the team, they would be working in the shop. The candidate must have good people skills, a good attitude, team mentality and strong work ethic. Must have knowledge of Power Equipment and experience repairing (Residential and Commercial), Needs to have a valid drivers license and clean driving record Be willing and able to repair and service, Residential and Commercial Mowers, Commercial landscape equipment, Snowblowers. Generators Provide all basic tools (wrench sets, screwdrivers, socket sets, battery powered impacts) specialty tools will be provided by the shop. Hydraulic knowledge a plus but not required Be willing to travel (fly and or drive) to attend factory training, update schools required for the brands we carry Strong experience in maintenance and repair of equipment, diesel and gasoline engines Sound knowledge of the safety regulations to be maintained in a work area Knowledge to troubleshoot and repair the equipment accordingly Work schedule is Tue-Fri 730-530 Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment Familiarity with safety practices and procedures while making mechanical repairs Ability to wear company uniforms while working Pay will be based on experience
