Golf Cart Mechanic Just Beachy IOP North Charleston, SC Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Truck delivery (delivery method) Hand tools Tire service Dealership experience Mechanical troubleshooting Service technician experience Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Golf Cart Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of golf carts and related vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will also be transporting carts to various locations/houses on and off the islands. Experience with Driving a truck and trailer is must. You will be working onsite at our locations in North CHS, Daniel Island and also doing visits to carts that are on Isle of Palms and Sullivans Island. Hourly $25-$30 based on experience. We are looking for Full time but open to less hours if you'd prefer. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on LSV golf carts using advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including engines, brakes, axels, batteries, and electrical components. Replace batteries with Lithium batteries. Troubleshoot basic vehicle issues such as engine performance problems, or electrical faults with precision. Complete routine maintenance tasks such as battery check, brake repairs, tire replacements, and system inspections to keep LSV's in top condition. Assist with the assembly of new vehicles or parts as needed and perform heavy lifting during repairs or installations. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service provided. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician background in automotive or powersports repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of engine systems, electrical diagnostics, suspension components, and brake systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and electrical troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with LSV operation is highly desirable. Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and assembly tools confidently. Experience in LSV repair troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude. Prior experience working with diagnostic software and electrical diagnostics is preferred.
