We are currently hiring a Motorcycle and Powersports Service Set Up Technician. We seek a skilled and motivated service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of motorcycles and Powersports. The service set up technician is responsible for providing quality repairs and services for all incoming units. You must use product knowledge and mechanical experience to ensure all service and repair needs are met. You will be responsible for completing both customer machine service and internal work, such as setting up incoming machines and installing accessories. Pay starts at $15/hour plus $5 flat rate per labor hour. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 am - 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am - 5 pm. Benefits for our next

Responsibilities:
Assemble and prepare new powersports units for delivery, including ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, personal watercraft, and other recreational vehicles. Perform manufacturer-required pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and setup procedures. Install accessories, options, and aftermarket components according to manufacturer specifications. Complete assembly of handlebars, controls, wheels, racks, windshields, bumpers, winches, plows, and other equipment as required. Check and adjust fluid levels, tire pressures, controls, cables, chains, belts, and other critical components. Install batteries and verify proper electrical operation, lighting, switches, gauges, and accessories. Inspect units for shipping damage, missing components, or assembly issues and report discrepancies to management. Verify proper operation of brakes, throttle, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and other safety-related systems. Perform basic mechanical adjustments and repairs identified during the setup and inspection process. Maintain accurate records of completed setup and inspection procedures. Follow manufacturer service manuals, specifications, safety procedures, and dealership policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and properly care for tools and equipment. Safely move, position, and prepare powersports units throughout the setup and delivery process. Assist service and sales departments with unit preparation, accessory installation, and delivery deadlines. Communicate any mechanical concerns or additional service needs to the Service Department or management. Maintain current knowledge of powersports products, technology, accessories, and manufacturer setup requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Motorcycle / Powersports or auto repair experience or education/training. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and detail-oriented. A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service. Must have own tools. ASE and manufacturer certification are desired, but not necessary. Must be at least 18 years old Must have a valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check, and have a clean driving record. We are an equal-opportunity employer.
