Small Engine Service Technician

Responsibilities Diagnose issues and perform repairs on small engines, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other outdoor power equipment. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups to ensure equipment longevity. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex problems effectively. Repair and service engines, generators, and pressure washers with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently. Perform electrical work including wiring repairs, electrical diagnostics, and component replacements. Assist customers by providing technical advice on equipment operation and maintenance best practices. Qualifications Experience as a service technician with a focus on small engines or outdoor power equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, equipment repair, or heavy machinery maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, diesel engine repair, and generator servicing. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and vehicle maintenance tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Ability to lift heavy components safely during repairs and maintenance tasks. Pay:

Up to $23.00 per hour
