VR & SG Lead Job Description:
The Sight Glass Technician will perform hands on troubleshooting, testing, and repair work on all sight glasses. Individual may also be asked to rebuild ball valves, PV valves, actuators, vacuum breakers, etc. Must be able to maintain a valid Driver License and clean driving record. Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and the willingness to learn new and other ERL products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work autonomously in Sight Glass repair process. Ensure all diagnostic, testing, and repair reports are in compliance with quality system. Perform failure assessments and make recommendations to the Production Manager as required. Demonstrates sound judgment with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are identified or detected Troubleshooting Removal and installation of repaired and new equipment Complete all necessary field service paperwork and ancillary procedures Ensure work and materials used follow manufactures specifications Read and interpret schematics for assembly, repair, or reassembly as require for various forms of vales Adheres to all policies and procedures Practices safe work habits to ensure an injury free environment Must be available for afterhours and on-call shifts Must have TWIC Card and attend job and safety training, as necessary or required Any job duties as assigned by

Education preferred: high school diploma or GED equivalent. Mechanical aptitude a must. Minimum 1-3 years of experience rebuilding sight glasses or valves May be required to maintain fit test certification Hands on skills assessment may be required based on qualifications godW7qWii2
