We are hiring an experienced Marine Technician / Boat Mechanic for an established marine service company serving the greater East Texas lake region. We are looking for a hands-on technician with professional experience diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing inboard and/or outboard marine engines . Candidates should be mechanically strong, comfortable troubleshooting engine systems, and capable of completing repairs independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair marine engines Work on inboard and/or outboard engines Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, ignition, charging, starting, and cooling-system issues Perform engine diagnostics using marine diagnostic equipment Complete tune-ups, oil changes, impeller replacement, lower-unit service, and preventive maintenance Read service manuals and wiring diagrams Test engines after repairs and confirm proper operation Document repairs and completed service work Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

3+ years of professional marine engine repair experience preferred Professional experience with inboard and/or outboard marine engines Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with mechanical and electrical engine systems Ability to work independently Experience using marine diagnostic equipment preferred Experience with major marine engine brands is a plus Must have own mechanic tools Valid Driver's License Reliable transportation to the worksite Must be able to pass a background check

Pay:
