Job Description

We're looking for a dependable Ranch Hand to join our team and assist with the daily upkeep of a private ranch in Devers, Texas. This is a full-time, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating/repairing/maintaining equipment, and pitching in wherever needed to keep the ranch running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Assist with the maintenance of ranch grounds, buildings, and equipment Help repair and maintain fences, fields, roads, and wooded areas Support preparation of the ranch for seasonal hunting and fishing activities (deer, hogs, fishing) Take part in tree farm care, including planting, watering, trimming, and general upkeep Operate and care for heavy equipment (tractors, mowers, etc.) under supervision Perform basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fence repairs as needed Work closely with the Ranch Manager and team to complete daily tasks efficiently Qualifications Previous ranch, farm, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred, but not required Small engine mechanical experience - repairing and maintaining Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to operate machinery and tools Must be physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Reliable transportation to commute to the Liberty County area Must pass a background check and drug screening This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys outdoor work and wants to gain more experience in ranch operations.
