This is a full-time, hands-on position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with engines and completing quality repairs. Experience with carpet-cleaning truckmounts is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has strong mechanical abilities and is eager to learn. Responsibilities Lead the service department and keep daily repair work organized Assign and delegate jobs to other technicians based on priority and skill level Diagnose and repair carpet-cleaning truckmount equipment Complete full truckmount services, including inspecting and replacing filters, belts, spark plugs, fluids and worn components Troubleshoot engines, pumps, blowers, heaters and electrical systems Identify equipment problems and determine the parts and repairs needed Review completed repairs to make sure work is done correctly Train and support other technicians when needed Keep management updated on repair progress Document repairs, maintenance performed and parts used Maintain a clean, organized and safe service area Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and meet PCCS quality standards Requirements Minimum of 3 years of professional mechanical repair experience Previous leadership or team-lead experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Able to lead, train and communicate clearly with other technicians Dependable, punctual and organized Able to work independently and make confident repair decisions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work inside service vehicles Must have a positive attitude and take pride in completing quality work Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills make a real difference!
