Pumps, Vessels, Valves Details:
Contract to Hire position $40.00 to $45.00 /hour First Shift Develop detailed P&IDs in AutoDesk, including proper equipment, piping, valve, instrumentation, and line tagging. Create detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventor Design and detail pressure vessels, separators, tanks, towers, skids, and packaged equipment for fabrication. Produce detailed isometric piping and fabrication drawings showing dimensions, weld locations, connections, materials, and other manufacturing requirements. Develop structural layouts and fabrication drawings for equipment skids, platforms, supports, stairs, handrails, and structural steel assemblies. Create vessel fabrication drawings Develop complete and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for vessels, piping, structural components, valves & fittings Interpret customer specifications, engineering requirements, P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and project documentation. Perform calculations related to dimensions, material quantities, allowances, tolerances, and fabrication requirements. Review designs with Engineering and Project Management teams and incorporate required revisions. Work directly with fabrication personnel to ensure drawings are practical, accurate, and suitable for manufacturing. Identify potential design or fabrication issues and recommend modifications before equipment reaches the shop floor. Assist with drawing revisions, redlines, as-built documentation, and customer-specific design changes. Maintain drawing standards, revision control, BOM accuracy, and project documentation. Pumps, Vessels, Valves Qualifications:
Associate degree in Drafting, Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent education and experience considered. 2+ years of mechanical drafting/design experience in oil & gas, process equipment, pressure vessel fabrication, industrial equipment, or a related manufacturing environment preferred. Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Experience creating 3D models, P&IDs, piping isometrics, fabrication drawings, and structural layouts. Strong understanding of mechanical components, piping systems, valves, fittings, vessels, and fabricated equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and fabrication documentation. Ability to visualize complex mechanical assemblies and translate concepts into accurate 2D and 3D drawings.
