In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing marine ultra high pressure pumps and associated equipment, and mechanical components to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise will contribute to safe, reliable operations in marine environments, supporting our commitment to excellence in water jetting services. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics who like challenging opportunities and eager to work on diverse projects that challenge their skills and grow their expertise. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting UHP equipment, including diesel mechanics and water jetting equipment. Execute mechanical repairs on UHP systems, using hand tools, and power tools. Utilize rigging techniques and assembly skills to install or replace mechanical and electrical parts safely and efficiently. Maintain ship UHP systems by performing routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades while adhering to safety protocols such as PPE use. Support water jetting operations by performing heavy lifting tasks and ensuring all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and operational procedures. Qualifications Proven service technician experience with a strong background in marine UHP mechanics or related fields such as diesel mechanics or vehicle maintenance. Knowledge of marine UHP systems maintenance, mechanical systems repair, and water jetting equipment upkeep. Hands-on experience with hand tools, and power tools, Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance tasks. Strong understanding of safety practices including personal protective equipment (PPE) use and adherence to maintenance procedures. Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members. Pay:
$25.85 - $31.13 per hour Expected hours: No more than 50.0 per week
