• Boat Sport Marina is a full service family owned Boat and Snowmobile Dealership focused around providing the best products, service and customer experience possible for over 30 years.

We are a dealership for Alumacraft, Four Winns, Crest, Harris Pontoons, ATX and Tige Tow Boats, Mercury Outboards, MerCruiser and Arctic Cat Snowmobiles.

We are growing and looking to hire a full time technician to help our Service department run more efficiently and expand our service capacity.

We are looking for an energetic, dependable and hardworking individual with past experience.

Experienced Marine Mechanic/Technician Primary Responsibilities-Perform diagnostics and repair of all types of marine engines and snowmobiles would be a plus

• Performing work on boats and snowmobiles, both service and rigging as needed
• Troubleshoot, repair and install electrical accessories in boats including bilge pumps, charging systems, and steering systems
• Work toward and maintain training certifications-Work with the Service Manager and General Manager to perform all tasks needed to run the businessExperienced Marine Mechanic/Technician Qualifications-Have a general understanding of the Diagnostic Process, Two Stroke and Four Stroke Theory, Electrical Diagnostics, and general shop processes
• A very strong attention to quality work and detail-Be able to work independently or with a team-Be able to work in both in-door and outdoor environments-Mercury, Mercruiser, Arctic Cat Snowmobiles, certification a plus
• Customer Service Abilities

• Compensation:

• Compensation packages will be based on the candidate's previous experience and skill sets.
