Shift:
Monday - Friday, 5:30AM To 2:00PM $17.50/Hour Job Details 1st Employment is seeking a dependable Wheels Assembler for our client in Morrilton, AR. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with assembly, manufacturing, construction, or mechanical experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment. The Wheels Assembler will play an important role in the manufacturing process by assembling components, performing quality inspections, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and power tools, be able to read tape measures and blueprints, and work effectively as part of a team. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to adapt to changing production demands. The Wheels Assembler must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work overtime when needed. Key Responsibilities Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assemble products and components according to specifications and production requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and measurements accurately. Perform quality inspections on completed assemblies and components. Complete required production paperwork and documentation. Meet daily production goals and quality standards. Communicate effectively with team members and other assembly stations to ensure efficient workflow. Package finished products for shipment. Report equipment malfunctions, defective parts, or quality concerns to supervisors. Assist in other production areas as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Attend department meetings and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy. Minimize waste by properly utilizing materials and supplies. Adapt to changing priorities and production schedules. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of assembly, manufacturing, construction, or related experience preferred. Ability to read tape measures and blueprints. Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen. Willingness to work overtime as required. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Regular bending, kneeling, reaching, grasping, and overhead work. Ability to stand and move throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing facility with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and fumes. Fast-paced production setting with moving equipment and machinery. Requires awareness of surroundings and adherence to all safety regulations.
