Job Summary Are you looking to kickstart your career in the automotive industry? We are looking for a reliable, motivated General Service (GS) Technician to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will learn the ropes of automotive service by performing basic vehicle maintenance and helping us maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop. We provide on-the-job training and a clear path for career growth into a full automotive technician role.

Key Responsibilities Basic Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, tire balancing, and battery replacements.

Vehicle Inspections:

Conduct multi-point safety inspections (checking lights, wipers, belts, and hoses).

Shop Cleanliness & Safety:

Keep shop bays, walkways, and communal areas clean, swept, and free of hazards.

Tool & Equipment Care:

Maintain shop tools, wipe down machinery, and properly dispose of used oil and tires.

Customer Service:

Drive customer vehicles in and out of the service bays safely. Qualifications Strong desire to learn and grow a career in automotive repair. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (required). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Basic Computer Skills are Essential.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
