Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Tire Technician and kick-start your career in automotive service! In this energetic role, you will be the vital force behind ensuring our customers' vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready to hit the road. You'll gain hands-on experience with tire installation, vehicle maintenance, and minor mechanical repairs while working in a fast-paced environment that values enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities Perform tire replacements, rotations, balancing, and repairs efficiently and safely using hand tools and power tools. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic mechanical repairs. Conduct wheel alignments and minor mechanical repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues and support more experienced technicians in troubleshooting. Handle heavy lifting of tires and vehicle parts safely, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering basic questions about vehicle maintenance needs. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, organize tools and equipment, and ensure all safety standards are met during daily operations.
Preferred:
Bilingual (spanish) Qualifications Prior dealership or mechanic experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential! Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools, power tools, and automotive fluids. Experience with standard passenger cars and understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments. Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills using automotive diagnostics tools. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Willingness to learn new skills related to automotive repair, tire service, alignment, and general maintenance tasks. $15.16 - $17.00 per hour
