This role has the primary responsibility to support daily operations of an alloy wheel repair and refinishing shop, including safely lifting cars, removing wheels, dismounting, mounting, and balancing wheels/tires, and keeping the tire area organized, clean, stocked, and running efficiently. Additionally, as needed, this role will help fill-in with wheel repair tasks, such as washing, sand blasting, and sanding wheels. The secondary responsibility for this role is to safely pick up and deliver wheels to our wholesale customers in the Denver metro and surrounding areas and assist with organization of wheels in the remanufacturing facility. It is expected that over time, the person who fills the role can grow with the company, and be promoted to other positions within the company, including sales, service, or technician, when opportunities become available. Primary Responsibilities Safely jacking up cars Removing wheels from cars Dismounting tires Mounting tires Balancing wheels/tires Installing wheels onto cars including using proper torque techniques Keeping the tire area organized and clean Disposing of used tires Unloading and loading loose wheels into customer vehicles Secondary Responsibilities Efficiently plan small pickup and delivery routes daily Safely pickup wheels and document services to be performed prior to delivering them to the remanufacturing facility Communication of expected lead times to customers Communicate customer information to the operations team Pickup remanufactured wheels from the facility, deliver to the customer, and process work orders and invoices in a timely manner Drop off weekly / monthly sales flyers Maintain a safe and clean delivery vehicle (company owned) Notify operations team when delivery vehicle needs repairs or service Success Factors Timeliness and reliability Efficient use of time Quality of work Professional and enthusiastic personality Friendly communication with customers and operations team Strong motivation and initiative Basic driving and navigation ability Clean driving record Timely and accurate use of workorder and invoicing application Essential Job Skills Necessary for Success Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management Basic use of smart phone applications Ability to work independently Tire mounting and balancing experience is preferred Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clear driving record (to be verified prior to offer) The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
