Duties Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light trucks Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify tire and mechanical issues quickly and accurately Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic mechanical repairs Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete tire service and minor mechanical work Assist with wheel alignments and other vehicle maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions confidently Experience Prior dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred Hands-on mechanic experience with standard passenger cars is essential Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair techniques is required Familiarity with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, and tire service procedures is necessary Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and alignment equipment safely and effectively Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform maintenance tasks for extended periods Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every customer
