Job Description
Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is seeking a Tire Technician to join our fast-paced transportation and warehousing team. In this role, you'll inspect, repair, and replace commercial and passenger tires for professional drivers and travelers. Responsibilities include mounting, balancing, and rotating tires, performing flat repairs, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. You'll provide friendly customer service, maintain a clean and safe shop, and follow company, DOT, and OSHA guidelines. Responsibilities Inspect, repair, and replace truck and auto tires according to company and safety standards Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires using shop tools and equipment Perform basic tire-related services such as flat repairs, patching, and valve replacements Conduct safety checks on tires, wheels, and related components before and after service Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service bay and work area Accurately document services performed and communicate findings to customers and team members Provide friendly, efficient customer service to professional drivers and travelers Follow all company, DOT, and OSHA safety procedures and guidelines Required Skills Tire inspection and repair Tire mounting and dismounting Tire balancing Use of tire changers and balancers Basic automotive or truck maintenance Safety and OSHA compliance DOT safety awareness Work order documentation Customer service Shop cleanliness and organization
