Tire Technician Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tire-related services, ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in automotive service to maintain and repair tires effectively. Duties Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on various vehicles. Conduct mounting and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and efficiently during tire service tasks. Maintain accurate records of services performed and customer interactions. Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes and automotive diagnostics. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally. Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to meet service goals and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar automotive service role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and tire services. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installations and repairs. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques is a plus. Proficient in using power tools safely in an automotive environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting. A valid driver's license is required.
