We're looking for a highly knowledgeable tire professional who is ready to lead. If you're currently an assistant manager , lead technician, senior technician, or highly experienced technician at a big automotive chain , we'd especially like to hear from you. We value the training and experience that comes from a well-run tire operation. We're looking for someone who can take that experience and help build something of their own. This is not a typical technician position. You'll still work on vehicles and use your technical skills. But you'll also have a real voice in how the shop operates: Lead and train technicians Organize the shop floor and keep work moving Greet and work directly with customers Inspect vehicles and identify legitimate needs Explain recommendations and close sales Recommend appropriate additional services Handle customer concerns Maintain quality and prevent comebacks Improve technician performance and shop processes Set the standard for professionalism We're looking for someone who can combine: Technical expertise + leadership + customer service + sales. Why make the move? At a large chain, you're often one technician within a much larger system. Here, your experience actually changes how the shop operates. You'll work directly with ownership. You'll have meaningful responsibility on the floor. If you see something that could be done better, you can speak up—and help implement it. We're actively improving the business and want someone experienced enough to help lead that effort. We're handling the back-office work such as payroll and advertising. Who we're looking for You may be a great fit if: You have several years of professional tire/automotive experience You're already the person other technicians ask for help You've trained newer technicians You understand both speed and quality You know how to talk to customers without talking down to them You're comfortable recommending and selling legitimate services You want more responsibility and influence You're ready to lead rather than simply turn wrenches Formal management experience is helpful, but not required. A great senior technician with leadership ability may be exactly what we're looking for. Who isn't a fit This isn't for someone who wants to work silently on their own jobs all day. Customer interaction, sales, training and leadership are core parts of the position. Saturday availability is required because Saturday is our busiest day.
