Hours:
7am
  • 3:30pm (1st Shift) 3pm
  • 11:30pm (Second Shift) 11pm
  • 7:30am (3rd Shift)
Minimum Requirements:
Able to lift 30
  • 50 lbs.
continuously, 60 lbs. on occasion. Able to stand for long periods of time.
Tasks:
Operate each piece of equipment per instructions. Thorough wheel inspection & quality control. Sand/dress cosmetic defects on face/backside of wheel(s). Weld necessary wheels-TIG welding (prior experience recommended) Heat/straighten wheels using wheel press. Some Mill work required Follow company safety policies, procedures, and good housekeeping practices.
Required PPE:
Steel toed footwear with slip guard, safety glasses, hearing protection, proper gloves and respirator (all PPE with exception of footwear will be provided).
Working Conditions:
Temperatures can range from 65 degrees in the winter to approximately 95 degrees in the summer.
Preferred Qualifications:
Weld experience recommended but not required. We will train! High school diploma or equivalent practical experience. Comfortable with handling heat and wearing protective gear Strong commitment to quality with genuine care for the product and work. Professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and commitment to working in a safe environment. Ability to concentrate for extended periods while standing. Physical capability to access all areas of the facility, withstand activities like walking, and standing. Multi-tasking ability while maintaining accuracy. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to observe and inspect part quality. Lift and move totes weighing up to 50 pounds. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, both below the waist and above the head. Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation and able to access all areas of the building without limitations.
