You will perform structural analysis on aircraft wheels and brake assemblies during all phases of the IPDS process. You will interact with representatives from other engineering functions based in South Bend, IN, as well as at sites in China, India, Mexico, and others. Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture Key Responsibilities Analyze and size aircraft wheel & brake components and assemblies Present and document analysis results Review and approve aircraft wheel & brake component and assembly drawings Review test procedures and reports Witness structural tests Evaluate manufacturing discrepancies Support service issues Review material failure reports Support other product lines as needed Improve existing engineering processes by eliminating non-value-added tasks and introducing automation through Python and other methods
