Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Alignment Technician to join our family owned and operated automotive service team since 1937. We don't work nights or weekends and have paid holidays off as well. Opportunities for increased pay and bonuses. Potential for paid alignment schooling and degree . In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise wheel alignments and related diagnostics to ensure optimal vehicle handling, safety, and performance. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional customer service by restoring vehicles to manufacturer specifications using advanced tools and technical knowledge. This position offers an opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive wheel alignments on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical components related to alignment systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize power tools, hand tools, and specialized alignment equipment to perform precise adjustments on suspension and steering components. Diagnose issues within automotive engine systems, powertrain components, and electrical systems that may impact alignment or vehicle safety. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, suspension repairs, and mechanical repairs including diesel engine work when necessary. Interpret automotive diagnostics data using advanced scan tools to identify underlying problems affecting vehicle alignment or system performance. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of vehicle parts during repairs or maintenance procedures while following safety protocols. Documenting records of all service work performed, including schematics interpretation, repair notes, and diagnostic results for quality assurance. Qualifications Valid drivers license for test driving vehicles after alignment completed Proven hands on experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Experience with general mechanical repair skills and strong mechanical knowledge Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and diagnostics tools. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and Hunter alignment equipment is preferred Physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling required during repairs or maintenance tasks.
