General Description:

This position is responsible for installing, inspecting and maintaining tires on company equipment. Actively participates and displays behaviors of the company values. Must have a valid driver's license.

Essential Duties:

Mount and dismount tires. Inspect trucks and trailers for flats. Transfer tires from storage. Removal of scrap tires from axles and transfer to the shredder. Record and compile "flats" and "junks" for VP of operations, as well as tire histories, tread depth, mileages, tire evaluations and tires transferred out for reconditioning. Requisition tires, rims and parts for repair of tire equipment. Supervise temporary workers and assist other mechanics as necessary. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Legible handwriting. Ability to work independently. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Self-motivated. Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment. Must pay attention to detail. Proven customer service skills.
