As a Tire Technician for your locally owned & operated Big O Tires - Minot, you will be working in a new, state-of-the art facility and be responsible for servicing and performing maintenance of tires and wheels in an accurate and timely manner. Responsibilities include:
Tire & Wheel Installation Calibrating & Reprogramming TPMS Measuring Tread & Inspecting Tires Repairing Tires Checking Tire Air Pressure Rotating Tires Torque/Retorque Lug Nuts Inventory Stocking Vehicle Inspections (using provided inspection sheet) Assistance in keeping the Shop & Work Areas Clean and Organized Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous employment as a Tire Technician (at a professional shop) and/or "hands-on" training as a Tire Technician in a professional or academic environment Valid/Current Driver's License Must be at least 18 years old Availability to work Rotating Saturdays, after regular hours if needed (rare occurrence), and some Holidays (if Store is open) Communicate & Work Well with Others including other Staff, Customers, Delivery Personnel Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials Complies with PPE Regulations Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to 9 hours per shift Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report, and criminal background check
Experience:
Ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in a professional auto services shop Minimum 1+ year experience/hands-on training &/or relevant related coursework Starting Pay will Depend on Experience Candidates with previous experience in Oil & Lube (in an auto services shop) are also encouraged to apply
Pay:
