Gary's Auto, a family owned auto and truck repair facility in East Syracuse, is actively hiring a reliable full-time Tire and Light Duty Technician. This is an entry level role. If you have a passion for cars, a strong work ethic, and a basic understanding of vehicles, the shop will train you. Responsibilities include mounting balancing rotating and repairing tires safely and efficiently, performing minor auto repairs and maintenance including oil changes fluid flushes filter replacements and battery service, and maintaining a clean safe and organized shop environment. Located in convenient East Syracuse NY at 7102 Fly Rd with easy access via major local roadways, enjoy quick commutes from surrounding Central New York communities including Syracuse Cicero and the greater Onondaga County area. East Syracuse offers a practical location near key transportation corridors and Syracuse Hancock International Airport with a strong industrial presence. Candidates should have entry level experience or automotive vocational training as a plus, a great attitude and willingness to learn, basic knowledge of vehicles and hand tools, the ability to handle the physical demands of a busy shop including lifting tires and standing for shifts, and a valid driver's license.
